Nous voilà arrivé au 3e et dernier épisode de cette interview chez Simone Pérèle.
Dans ce volet, Katia Charle la directrice artistique nous révèle les secrets de fabrication d’une pièce de lingerie. Elle répond également à la question du prix pour de la lingerie haut de gamme, qu’est-ce qui justifie certains écarts entre une pièce à 20€ et une autre à 100€.
A la fin de l’interview Katia Charle s’est prêtée à un petit jeu de questions.
J’espère que vous avez apprécié ces 3 épisodes au coeur de la marque de lingerie haut de gamme Simone Pérèle. Il était important pour moi de pouvoir partager avec vous ce rapport privilégié que j’ai avec cette marque qui m’a tout de suite ouvert ses portes.
J’apprécie également la transparence dont ils ont fait preuve et surtout le temps si précieux que m’a accordé Katia Charle. Malgré son emploi du temps surchargé elle m’a accueilli les bras ouverts dans son bureau et l’atelier de mise au point.
Vous avez été nombreuses à réagir et à visionner ces vidéos donc j’aimerai également vous dire merci. C’est aussi beaucoup de temps et de préparation qu’il y a en amont pour réaliser quelque chose de qualitatif et surtout avec un réel intérêt qui colle au plus près de ce blog.
Simone Pérèle m’a fait un dernier honneur en me présentant en avant-première un des prochains coloris de la ligne Révélation. La version Tattoo avec ces soleils noirs sur un fond de tulle chair, une fois sur la peau il se confond et il en ressort ce très joli dessin. Cette version sera disponible dès la rentrée 2014. La semaine dernière je partageais avec vous le premier volet d’une interview que j’ai réalisé avec la marque de lingerie haut de gamme: Simone Pérèle.
La directrice artistique de la marque, Katia Charle m’a consacré une demie journée entière pour me parler de son travail.
Passionnante, j’ai essayé de retranscrire cela dans cet interview, Katia Charle prend le temps de nous expliquer pas à pas les étapes de la création d’une pièce de lingerie, aux formes de bonnets, aux choix des matières. Elle répond également aux questions que vous vous posiez au sujet de la création d’une lingerie “unique” pour tous les bonnets.

The artistic manager of the brand, Katia Charle, kindly dedicated half a day to talk about her work.
Fascinating, that’s what I tried to bring out from this interview, Katia Charle takes the time to explain step by step the creation of a lingerie set. From the cup sizes and their shapes to the fabrics choice. She also answered the questions that you asked concerning the creation of a “unique” lingerie set for every cup.
J’espère qu’à travers ces différentes interviews vous allez pouvoir apprendre ou redécouvrir certaines choses. Personnellement j’ai été bluffée par la complexité de ce métier et surtout le savoir-faire de cette marque. J’ai appris plein de choses et regarde désormais mes sous-vêtements d’un oeil différent.

I hope that with these interviews you’ll be able to learn or rediscover certain things. Personally, I was amazed how complex this job is and especially on the knowledge of this brand! I learnt so much and trust me I don’t see my underwear the way I used to do.

Parce que c’est rare, trop méconnue à mon goût et avec ce désir de transmettre que je vais lancer une petite saga sur ce blog avec 3 vidéos.

You all know my passion for knowledge, for details, beautiful things and passionate people. It’s because of my first time meeting Katia Charle that this desire became reality. It was like love at first sight.
Katia Charle loves her work, she lives through it, her creative sense, her sensitivity, her generosity can be felt within her work and today I would like to share this meeting with you.
In general, it’s only famous designers that are under the spots, most of the time men and only in the clothes industry. But it’s good to know that behind a lingerie brand such as Simone Pérèle, there’s also a creative person. And you know, at Pérèle, it’s only happiness, smile and ready to listen to you.
And it’s too rare, underestimated to my taste and this desire to share, that’s why I decided to launch a set of 3 videos here on the blog.

Ces 3 vidéos vont aussi répondre à plusieurs questions que vous vous posiez, Katia Charle a répondu sans détour aux questions les plus directs. Mais elle a aussi ouvert quelques secrets de création, détaillé la mise au point d’un modèle. Egalement beaucoup d’explications sur la gamme pour les poitrines généreuses “Révélation” et ce point nous concerne tout particulièrement, vous allez voir c’est passionnant.
Pardonnez cette introduction un peu longue mais c’est une réelle fierté pour moi d’entretenir de tels rapports avec une marque, qui me fait confiance, avec laquelle j’échange beaucoup. Un rapport qui est essentiel pour moi et surtout une des raisons pour laquelle j’écris sur ce blog depuis 8 ans. Au delà du virtuel, il y a des gens, et ce sont des rencontres comme celle que j’ai pu faire avec Katia Charle, qui me donne une raison de plus de continuer mon petit chemin.

These three videos will give you all the answers on the questions asked. Katia Charle answered frankly all of them. She also shared a couple of secrets on the creations and designs, gave explanation on how a model is created. Finally there are a lot of explanations on the line “Révélation” especially made for generous bust. This part is extremely interesting for us.
Please forgive me for this rather long introduction but I’m really proud to have such connexion with a brand and the people working at it who gave me their trust. Something essential for me and also one of the reasons why I’m writing posts here on the blog. It’s not only virtual, there’re people and these meetings like the one I had with Katia Charle that gives me the will to keep going on.

I promised I’d give you my opinion of eye lashes extensions six month after I started this experience.
First of all if you missed the first feedbacks, you can read about them here and here. These posts will help you understand how I started this experience and what I thought about it.
So here I am, I’ve been wearing eye lashes extensions for six month and well nothing changed: I love it! Eye lashes extensions became an essential beauty routine for me: I just can’t have my lashes without extensions!
Besides the fact eye lashes extensions save me quite some time when I put make-up on (no more mascara needed), I love how my eyes look with them on.

Today I’ll show you an appointment where I had my eye lashes extensions re-done. That’s something I do every five weeks approximately.
As for the first session, the upper eye lashes are isolated, the eyes are protected by pads and medical bandage.
One by one the professional takes off with a tool, each lashes which are about to fall.
Then, she isolates the lashes which don’t have anymore extensions. She glues one by one a new extension to each eye lashes. For a complete re-fill it takes about 1h30 depending on how many lashes you’ve lost during the following weeks when you had your first session.
The re-fill is done three or five weeks after the first session, depending on how you care for extensions, how your eye lashes are and how fast they regenerate (basically how often they fall) but also according to your taste.
Personally I have a re-fill every five weeks as I consider that mine falls rather homogenize and after the fifth weeks I still have enough extensions for a pretty result.
Since my first session the only thing I’ve changed is the length of the extensions on the middle of my eyes. I asked the professional to make my eye lashes extensions very open on the sides a bit like cat’s eyes. Basically shorter extensions on the inside of the eyes and longer ones on the exterior.
You can see what I’m describing on the second photo below the text: the exterior eye lashes are longer. It’s the result I like best. Don’t hesitate and talk with the professional and ask for advices.
I hope this little post answered a few of your questions and that you might want to try out eye lashes extensions. With the holidays approaching and their weddings and parties I think it’s the good time to try it out! It’s also a good idea for a gift whether it’s for you or a friend!

These bank holidays are truly a blessing, especially since the atmosphere is getting heavy here in Paris. The grey weather, the long faces, nothing can be done unfortunately! Especially, since it’s the weather that is bad and the temperatures that are really cold! It’s hard for everybody now in Paris.
As for me I’m wearing (again!) opaque tights, after 2 times almost losing my boobs because I thought: spring is here! The warm weather is back! Yeah right, dream about it, continue like that and you’re sure to get sick. So for the moment we’ll have to deal with that weather and try to wear punchy outfits!

Small reminder, Sarenza asked me to embody the character of “la Coquine” (the naughty) from the selection of “Very Sexy Shoes”. A fun exercise but far from being obvious for me, my first time interpreting “la Coquine” here.
Why ?
I’m about to embody a very special character next week and the highlight of the show will be on the 4th of April…
For that I need to get prepared, I need to choose the right clothes, the right accessories, the perfume that will surround this mystery character. That’s what we call preparations but I personally see it as preliminaries. A story I tell to interpret, embody a woman who follows her desires. A woman who dares; who devotes her entire body and soul to her desires.
Beaux, beaux, beaux et j’en profite de mes cheveux, ça fait des années que je ne les avais pas vu comme ça. Merci les hormones de grossesse… mais j’ai tellement peur de me retrouver chauve. Paraît-il qu’ils vont bientôt tomber par poignée. J’ai beau me faire à cette idée, j’ai peur d’avoir un choc émotionnel en les voyant disparaître ainsi. Je vais me retrouver comme Marilyn, chauve comme un oeuf, au pire je mettrai un toupet!
Ondulés et légèrement bouclés, c’est comme ça qu’ils sont à l’origine, mais pour ce résultat il faut que je les laisse sécher à l’air libre sans les toucher. Je redessine quelques boucles et le tour en joué… enfin joué après plusieurs heures de séchage et en hiver c’est pas le plus évident.
Côté tenue, j’ai craqué pour la jupe patineuse en cuir cognac de la collection Curve. Pas mal mais un peu courte, sans collants opaques c’est juste pas possible pour moi.
Beautiful, pretty, gorgeous, I’m enjoying my hair; it’s been years I’ve seen them like that. Thanks to the pregnancy hormones… But I’m so afraid to become bald. Seems they’re going to fall. I’m trying to accept that idea, I’m still so afraid I’m going to have an emotional shock seeing them disappear. I’m going to become like Marilyn, bald like an egg, worst comes to worst I’ll wear a wig!
Wavy and slightly curly, that’s the way they are naturally but to get this result I have to let them dry without using a hairdryer. I style the curls a little bit and I’m all set… Well after a few hours in open air as in winter it’s never easy.
On the outfit side, I indulged myself with this tan leather skirt from the Curve range. Not bad but a tad too short, without black tights it’s just not possible for me!
