If I told you that there’s just one step from the lights of Cannes to the lights of Paris, would you believe me ?

You all know L’Oréal Paris, the official make-up of the Cannes Film Festival. Each year, they create a collection for the occasion. For this 17^th edition, L’Oréal Paris created the L’Or et Lumière collection.

I think you’re starting to see where I’m getting at : the make-up of the stars !

What’s their secret to enlighten the red carpet ? How do they dazzle everyone under the cracking flashes ?

A lot of those movie beauties pass through the hands of the L’Oréal Paris make-up artists, and thanks to this new collection in limited edition, people like you and me can steal these make-up tricks to subtly reflect the light.

I tried this new collection and here is how I realized my make-up.

I applied the light-reflecting powder Lumi Magique n°2 Rose Radieux on the bridge of the nose and above the cheekbones. For the eyes I used the Color Rich Metropolitan Grey khôl pencil n°111 on the outer corner of the eye, a dark shade to stretch my eyes. For a touch of light on the inner corner of the eye, the Ombre Pure Color Riche n°600 Opalescent, an absolutely magical eyeshadow. At first it appears to be white but once you apply it on the eyelid it takes a nice holographic iridescent pink. My lips are lacquered and voluminous thanks to the Color Riche Extraordinaire Ruby Opéra n°304, a really red lipstick as I often like to wear on this blog. Finally, a shade of golden on my nails, I really like this nailpolish which has a mat and rather extended effect, the Color Riche Sheer Gold n°881.
