Un billet du jour qui change de l’ordinaire, au menu non pas une tenue du jour mais un passage en revue de mes différents looks avec un jean ou une pièce en jean.

Je vous en parlais dans mon billet de lundi,  dégoter un jean idéal c’est vraiment pas facile, et une fois qu’on possède LA pièce qui nous galbe et nous met en valeur, on a tendance à l’user jusqu’à la corde.

J’ai fouiné dans mes archives et j’ai ressorti quelques looks avec une pièce en denim que j’affectionne particulièrement même si je suis plutôt habituée aux looks habillés, j’aime casser certaines pièces avec du jean, ça dédramatise vite l’ensemble.

A post of the day that’s a bit different from the usual posts, not an outfit of the day but a trip back on the memory lane to see my different looks with a pair of jeans or a jean piece.

I was talking about in my post on Monday, finding the perfect jeans are really not easy, but when you have THE right one, that shape us and shows all of our assets, we generaly tend to use them until death of the material.

I went on a search in the archives and got a few looks out of it, all featuring a denim piece I quite love, even if I love being chic and a bit dressed up, I love breaking the routine of an outfit with a something denim, it gets rid of the drama in a good way!

Ce mois d’avril pour La Redoute j’ai choisi de mettre en avant le denim sous toutes ses formes. Dans ma sélection je me suis penchée sur les pièces détournées du jean. En saharienne, en robe tunique ou encore sur des compensées, on peut vraiment varier le style et apporter une touche de toile à nos tenues.

Pour celles qui m’ont demandé conseils pour se trouver un jean adapter aux formes, voilà ce que j’ai trouvé, toujours à la Redoute.

En page 56 du catalogue Taillissime ou ICI on the web, on nous propose 4 formes différentes de jean.

• Bootcut: évasé sur le bas
• Droit: comme son nom l’indique tout droit ou tube
• Pantacourt: jambe droite et s’arrête avant la cheville
• Fuselé: légèrement rétréci vers le bas de la jambe

Ensuite, et c’est là que ça devient super intéressant, on peut choisir la longueur selon sa stature, de moins d’1m65 à plus d’1m75. Voir même 3 statures pour le jean droit avec un choix pour celles qui mesurent entre 1m65 et 1m75. Mais on ne s’arrête pas là, vous avez la possibilité pour certains modèles de choisir votre largeur de cuisse, quand même bien pratique pour celles qui comme moi ont de bonnes jambes.

This month of April for la Redoute, I’ve decided to highlight denim in every forms. In my selection I took a look at jeans and clothes coming from the jean. a Saharian jacket, a tunic dress, or even on wedges, there is always a way to vary with the jean, and bring a touch of denim to your outfits.

For those who asked me for some advice on how to find the perfect jeans, shape hugging and perfect cut, here is what I found on La Redoute.

On page 56 of the Taillissime catalogue or here on the web, you can find 4 different jeans shapes.

• Bootcut: wider at the bottom
  
• Straight: as the name says, straight or in a tube shape
  
• Capri: straight leg that stops mid lower leg
  
• Fuselé: a bit tighten at the bottom around the ankles
  

That’s when it gets super interesting, as you can choose the length of the jeans depending on your height, from less than 1m65 to taller than 1m75. Even 3 different options for the straight jeans and those of us who are between 1m65 and 1m75. But it doesn’t stop there, you can also choose the width of the hips, which is just super cool for the girls with curvy legs like me.

Ma découverte et mon gros coup de coeur, c’est le jean blanc présenté dans le dernier look de ce billet. C’est une coupe droite, d’un confort absolu avec son pourcentage d’élasthane, il vient désormais s’ajouter à ma collection de denims favoris.

My discovery and favorite thing, is this presented in the last look of this post. It’s a straight leg cut, super ultra comfy and a stretchy, it’s now part of my favorite denims!

J’espère que ce passage en revue vous a aidé ou inspiré. Le jean j’aime et j’ai toujours aimé, aujourd’hui je suis ravie de pouvoir dire au revoir à mes jeans d’ados que je devais sans cesse remonter, et tirer sur mon t-shirt pour pas qu’on voit trop mes fesses quand je me baissais, sans oublier le fameux pull enrouler autour de la taille. C’est bien loin tout ça et c’est tant mieux!

I hope this little review might have helped or inspired you. I love the jean, I always loved it, and today I’m very happy to see a good variety in jeans. I don’t have to wear some of these awful jeans from my teenage years, that I had to care for all the time, sliding against my legs, lowering my tee shirt to hide the bad shape of the jean so that you wouldn’t see my butt, and let’s not forget about the famous sweater around the waist to hide the misery. That was a long time ago, oh joy!
