BETH DITTO – TIMES SQUARE DRESS

In early April I presented the first piece that announced the arrival of Beth Ditto in fashion.

His shirt dress with Jean Paul Gaultier opened the doors of her eponymous collection.

Beth wanted a collection in his image, colorful, fun, feminine and without taboos. From beginning to end, the line is well thought out in the cups but also in manufacturing. No matter Ditto for relocating, the clothes are made in New York. It was a strong desire for it to work the local industry and compensate people who sew at the right price.

Beth Ditto me very kindly sent a dress on which I had already flashed upon its release.

Two outfis with sneakers in one week, OMG ! What is happening to me ?

That’s the kind of outfit I wear a lot during the week, when I’m picking my son up from daycare for example, then we go to the park.

I wear running shoes to be able to run after him !!

I haven’t been able to wrap my mind around the idea of opaque tights yet, so I manage to go out with bare legs under my dresses, but I balance things with a coat.

Today, I’m wearing a beautiful piece I found at COS : woollen cloth, raw seam, light gray, perfect !

An Issey Miyake-like pleated dress, slightly longer in the back, with short sleeves. I already found a way to wear it when it’ll be colder, with a blouse under it. I promise I’ll show you.

A little OOTD I shot on Saturday afternoon at sunset. My God, how lovely was this last week of September.

How to switch to autumnal outfits really softly : I used a color you’ll see a lot this year, khaki.

Many of you loved my metallized Zara skirt, it’s not available anymore but I found you a similar skirt here and it’s available in every sizes ! Yeepee !

My little jersey comes from Marina Rinaldi’s last winter collection. My trick to find beautiful pieces at soft prices : if you’re in Italy, the brand is 30% cheaper there, and if you happen to be there during big sales, it gets significantly more affordable. And if you don’t get the chance to go to Italy, Marina Rinaldi’s stores in France have sales just like any other brand. There’s no window display of them for luxury brands but you just have to ask the store where are their discount products when the time comes.

There you go, you now know everything. I leave you with a little OOTD featuring my Stan Smith shoes : I wear them all the time and with absolutely anything !

Tout influe sur moi rien ne me change. Salvador Dali … et c’est pour ça que l’on a inventé le tregging et le jegging, pour se donner bonne conscience mais au final c’est pareil.
