I promised I’d give you my opinion of eye lashes extensions six month after I started this experience.

So here I am, I’ve been wearing eye lashes extensions for six month and well nothing changed: I love it! Eye lashes extensions became an essential beauty routine for me: I just can’t have my lashes without extensions!

Besides the fact eye lashes extensions save me quite some time when I put make-up on (no more mascara needed), I love how my eyes look with them on.

Today I’ll show you an appointment where I had my eye lashes extensions re-done. That’s something I do every five weeks approximately.

As for the first session, the upper eye lashes are isolated, the eyes are protected by pads and medical bandage.

One by one the professional takes off with a tool, each lashes which are about to fall.

Then, she isolates the lashes which don’t have anymore extensions. She glues one by one a new extension to each eye lashes. For a complete re-fill it takes about 1h30 depending on how many lashes you’ve lost during the following weeks when you had your first session.

The re-fill is done three or five weeks after the first session, depending on how you care for extensions, how your eye lashes are and how fast they regenerate (basically how often they fall) but also according to your taste.

Personally I have a re-fill every five weeks as I consider that mine falls rather homogenize and after the fifth weeks I still have enough extensions for a pretty result.

Since my first session the only thing I’ve changed is the length of the extensions on the middle of my eyes. I asked the professional to make my eye lashes extensions very open on the sides a bit like cat’s eyes. Basically shorter extensions on the inside of the eyes and longer ones on the exterior.

You can see what I’m describing on the second photo below the text: the exterior eye lashes are longer. It’s the result I like best. Don’t hesitate and talk with the professional and ask for advices.
